- PRIMARY FUNCTION:
|
The Quality amp; Safety Analyst will turn data into actionable information and insights to improve quality and safety performance across all regional hospitals. This is a unique blend between technical and business knowledge and skills. This role will work closely with operational and quality amp; safety leadership to understand their analytics and operational needs and function as a trusted analytics delivery partner to answer pertinent business questions using all available data assets. Enables successful adoption of analytical skills and requires advanced knowledge of national benchmarking organizations and quality improvement programs both internal and external to support our performance. |
II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: |

- Use advanced knowledge of healthcare key performance indicators to identify drivers of quality, safety and patient experience outcomes
|
|
- Present key findings and recommendations in hospital quality and safety improvement activities, including workflow redesign, baseline benchmark setting, monitoring, and action plan execution for targeted metrics
|
|
- Develop trusting relationship with operational leadership and serve as the primary resource for quality amp; Safety analytical needs across the region.
|
|
- Manage the submission and data dissemination for the OPPE Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation) program
|
|
- Coordinate data retrieval and data submission process for Leapfrog Program
|
|
- Serve as regional administrator for the Vizient Quality amp; Benchmarking Platform
|
|
- Conduct analysis of performance in value based performance measures and publicly reported programs utilizing advanced statistical methodologies
|
|
- Develop and standardize quality and safety reporting assets for local and regional leadership forums
|
|
- Build flexible, dynamic, scalable statistical models to forecast trends across key quality performance measures
|
|
- Oversee the design and delivery of data analyses to prepare for and respond to requirements of The Join Commission, Pa. Department of Health, CMS initiatives, and other bodies.

|
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

III. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: |
- Experience:
|
At least 5-10 yearsrsquo; experience in hospital setting overseeing quality and safety performance data |
- Education amp; Training:
|
Masterrsquo;s degree in healthcare quality or other healthcare related field |
- License, Certification amp; Registration:
|
CPPS, CPHQ or other relevant quality and safety certifications |
