As an Accounts Payable Specialist, Here's What You'll Do:



  • Processes all invoices and credit card transactions in a timely manner or according to established schedule.
  • Ensures proper approval of invoices prior to payment.
  • Ensures accuracy of vendor information in system.
  • Answer accounts payable calls, answers and researches questions regarding invoices and payments, as needed.
  • Provides back-up support for field service advisor duties, including activities on invoices and creating repair orders, as needed.
  • Support our Accounts Payable team including processing credit card payments for maintenance vendors.
  • Serve as backup/support for accounts receivable activities.
  • Perform month-end activities including general ledger account analysis and reconciliation duties.
  • Assist with our annual external audits.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (License & Title, Maintenance, Client Services, and Purchasing), fostering a cohesive and productive working environment.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:



  • Previous accounts payables and billing experience.
  • Previous experience with credit card transactions preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fleet management/administration role desired.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with intake is a plus.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • College preferred.
  • 2 years minimum of AP experience preferred.


Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers, and fax machines.

Working Conditions

This position will be based out of our office in Oak Brook, Illinois. Until the Company moves to Oak Brook in early 2026, this will temporarily work out of the office in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role also offers remote work flexibility with 3 days in office, and 2 days remote.

Compensation/Benefits

The hiring base salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 USD. This role is classified as non-exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on financial and personal performance throughout the plan year.

Sasser is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay ranges are assigned to a job based on market data according to 3rd party salary benchmarking surveys. Actual base salary is dependent upon factors such as knowledge, skill level, and experience.
