About the opportunity
SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking Cultural Resources Technicians in our Houston, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana offices (Gulf Coast Region) to assist with cultural resources management work. SWCA's Gulf Coast region offers a unique work environment and a diversified client-base, including generation/renewables, transportation, water infrastructure, oil and gas, and land development. Your role will be to assist the crew chiefs and field directors on a variety of projects throughout the Gulf Coast and Southeastern US. This is at least a 40-hour per week, hourly, temporary, field-based assignment expected to last from October 2024 thru January 2025. The selected candidates can reside anywhere in TX and LA, or throughout the southeast region and will be required to travel up to 100% of the time. The selected candidate will be required to pass client-specific drug and alcohol screening, potentially including pre-fieldwork drug testing and monthly drug testing. What you will accomplish

An employee in this Southeast-based position can expect an hourly pay rate of $18.75-$24.75/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
