JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Materials Research Institute at Penn State is looking to hire a Sponsored Project Manager, who will manage interactions with external customers and implement effective management practices to ensure that the deliverables meet targeted timelines for the Silicon Carbide Innovation Alliance (SCIA) and the Center for Atomically Thin Multifunctional Coatings (ATOMIC). These organizations are administratively housed with the Materials Research Institute under the office of the Senior Vice President for Research. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities of this position include the following:
Education and Experience: This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment and will include interfacing with users and among the range of career levels (undergrad through full professor) and industry professionals Specific desired experience:
This is a limited term position funded for 1 year from the start date, with excellent possibility of renewal.
