KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director to join our Advisory Services practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as point of contact for client and market interactions as the Government Sector Managed Services pre-sales Director including supporting internal stakeholders in client and prospect interactions
  • Partner with sector leadership to drive quality and efficiency of RFP response efforts for Managed Services, managing sales processes, sales pipeline, and associated pursuits
  • Engage directly and collaborate with government Consulting leadership, alliances, business, and industry teams to align and support pipeline efforts and champion Managed Services introduction in all sales proposals
  • Collaborate with marketing team and support Managed Services market development to design the integrated solution marketing execution plan(s), including sales channel strategy, target market and buyer identification, demand generation (consortiums, campaigns, content syndication, webcasts, social, paid search, other thought leadership), events and internal/external communications
  • Support Managed Services Solution Management teams to provide Consulting leadership, alliances, business, and industry teams feedback to support defining, building, and delivering updated or new solutions as part of Managed Services
  • Work with Solution Market Development team to define solution sales training plan and enablement requirements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in pre-sales support, consulting/advisory sales or support, and/or solution delivery for a technology services company, with industry expertise in a highly technical and fast paced environment; including two years of experience in providing complex services sales advisory and/or support
  • Bachelor or Master of business management degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong knowledge of and expertise with portfolio management of many active customer-centric products and services
  • Prior work experience in the public sector preferred
  • Proven domain experience in the public sector, not limited to Federal agencies and departments, State and Local agencies and departments, state operated education institutions, state operated healthcare providers, and more
  • Strong understanding of shared services, managed services and/or outsourcing in the public sector
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
