Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Research Assistant II to perform research and/or development in collaboration with others for projects. The Research Assistant provides laboratory and technical support to senior technical and professional staff and solves problems of standard complexity in carrying out research projects in a clinical or laboratory environment. Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques including but not limited to sterile cell culture, DNA cloning, protein expression and purification, western blotting; ability to follow detailed instructions; good communication, analytical and presentation skills. Strong molecular biology background required. Well organized and detail oriented. Abilities to use different computer software as word processing, data processing, graphics presentation of data, and others. This position will be in support of Dr. Christopher Broder and Dr. Moushimi Amaya in the Microbiology and Immunology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The research will work with emerging viruses for discovering and development of vaccines and therapies against these viruses. The Henry M.
