Job Description

Job Summary:

Mercury Systems specializes in secure mission-critical technology for the military and defense. We are seeking a Master Scheduler for our Supply Chain group. This is a great opportunity for an individual to contribute to the future growth of the corporation.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Ensure schedule alignment with MPS
  • Manage short- and long-term capacity plans, and reporting
  • Proactively mitigates/communicates risks to perpetuate an executable plan balancing inventory control, production/manpower constraints, and supply risks.
  • Authority on appropriate Demand signal usage and management for controlled consumption and accountability.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Quality, Program Management and Engineering to review execution of production schedules, build plans, backlog status, and other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling.
  • Ensure MRP integrity is maintained.
  • Ensure annual revenue plan is achieved and managed.
  • Implement planning strategies to mitigate plan and schedule challenges.
  • Recommend and execute cost savings and efficiency improvements by identifying opportunities in material usage variance and yield.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain tools to manage key metrics, review variances, and understand drivers and impact of changes. Utilize tools to assess risk.
  • Lead project teams on continuous improvement projects. Monitor progress and collaborate with other departments.
  • Process engineering change orders and provide impact to schedule to MPS.
  • Engage in the SIOP monthly process.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in advanced Excel functions
  • Experience in production and capacity planning
  • Experience in ERP.

  • This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • ASCM (APICS) certification.
  • Experience in working in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Oracle experience.
  • Experience in Advance planning tools.
  • Team Player: Collaborates with key stakeholders, gains commitment to meet timelines and influences others without direct authority.
  • Driver and Goal Oriented: With limited guidance, identifies tasks needed to support desired outcomes, and challenges potential delays to drive necessary actions for results.
  • Organized: Demonstrated ability to stay organized with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented. Time management and workload prioritization capabilities are key.
  • Flexible: Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited guidance from Manager. Possesses a positive questioning attitude, able and willing to dive into the why.
