From your PASSION to ours Full time position in the Import/Export Sales Administration & Customer Service team to support the Lactalis American Group (LAG) AND Lactalis Heritage Dairy (LHD) Export businesses. Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute activities related to Order Processing and Order Management for assigned portfolio of Export Customers. This involves working with Internal & External Customers, Sales, Marketing, Central and Production Planners, Distribution/Logistics, Finance, Government regulatory agencies, as well as other internal departments and outside services. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: * Develop a strong base of knowledge regarding products, services, and capabilities to be used on a day-to-day basis in managing Customer orders in line with vendor order management as outlined by each individual customer requirements. * Process orders of US products received from external or internal customers. * Work closely with cross-functional company personnel to help ensure that the company provides a superior level of customer service and resolve any problems in a timely manner. * Monitor order pricing and adhere to contracted Customer pricing. * Coordinate with Planning/Plant to ensure quantities/delivery dates are respected. * Coordinate shipment of orders for land and ocean transport from plant to port of delivery with logistics and/or appropriate freight forwarder. * Report issues of critical concern that may affect Customer Service to the Supervisor and/or Assistant Director. * Act as a backup to other Customer Service staff to cover vacations, personal time, etc. * Manage bookings and loadings of containers. * Issue set of appropriate export documents per order, including but not limited to AMS/APHIS, COO, CoA, Invoice, Packing List, BOL, SLIs. * Adhere to all country-related regulatory compliance standards. * Assist customers with quality related documentation and issues. * Communicate/Problem solve any issues with domestic and overseas stakeholders. * Meets productivity standards; Completes work in a timely manner. * Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of all employees and that will further contribute to the Company's overall performance and success. * Travel and / or extended or off work hours may be required. * This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. * To fulfill these responsibilities, tools such as a computer, phone or, and / or allowance(s) may be provided. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education & Experience * Ideal incumbent will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a College or University. * 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word) Skills/Abilities * MUST have a valid Driver's License or State Issued ID to register with government agencies to perform essential work duties. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Must be self-motivated, organized and possess strong problem solving skills. * Ability to manage priorities and complex workload. * Knowledge of export logistics terminology (INCOTERMS/Ocean shipping Terms). * Team player able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. * Excellent oral and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and make effective autonomous decisions. * Basic Math Skills |
