Who We Seek

You are a strategic, results-driven leader passionate about maintaining safe, efficient, and well-functioning facilities. You thrive in a senior leadership role, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, where you develop and implement comprehensive facilities management programs that align with RFK Community Alliance's mission and goals.


  • Strategic Leadership: You excel at developing and executing long-term plans for facilities management that ensure alignment with organizational goals. You collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize facility renovation and improvement projects. Managing an annual capital budget, you drive the resource allocation process, all while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the facilities departments.
  • Facilities Management: You oversee the safety, maintenance, and efficiency of RFKCA's properties, including grounds, building systems, and construction projects. You manage maintenance teams and direct the Maintenance Manager, ensuring all preventive, routine, and emergency repairs are executed to maintain high property standards. You have a talent for budgeting, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while building strong relationships with external vendors for successful project execution.
  • Food Services & Housekeeping: Overseeing the food services and housekeeping departments is in your wheelhouse. You manage department heads, ensure operations run smoothly, and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Vehicle Management: You oversee the agency's vehicle fleet, handling everything from purchases and repairs to safety inspections and compliance.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of facilities maintenance, operations, and capital planning principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing facilities management policies and procedures.
  • Excellent budget management and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience in supervising and leading a team of facilities professionals.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and related facilities management software (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, on occasion.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $101,000 per year
