In the role of EIT Water Resources, we'll count on you to:
- Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities
- Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection
- Focus on storm water studies and master planning, green infrastructure design, stream channel restoration and watershed issues.
- Support floodplain analysis and related permitting activities
- Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT or the ability to obtain within 6 months. If candidate doesn't have their EIT, they will have the title of Coordinator
- Experience/familiarity with MicroStation, GIS applications, and modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM is desired
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
