ABOUT THE ROLE

The Loan Support Manager is responsible for leading a team of Operations Analysts. The primary objective of the Loan Support Team is to provide ongoing production support, project support, business analysis and subject matter expertise for lending systems, including consumer, commercial, corporate bank, and collections applications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Effectively lead a diverse team of professionals in a climate of high demand and ongoing change
  • Play a leadership role in providing ongoing production support for Loan Payment and Operation Support Services systems; set priorities for assigned systems, taking into consideration Key's strategic priorities, client impact, availability of resources, compliance requirements, funding requirements, impacts to Loan payment and Operational Services processes, etc.
  • Partner with peers in business planning to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
  • Independently lead problem and enhancement review meetings with analysts, Data Quality, Process Areas, Technology, Vendors and/or other Business Partners. Anticipate business needs for enhancements and drive for results.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Process Areas, Lines of Business, Key Technology, Vendors, and other Support Partners.
  • Serve as system consultant to Process Areas and Lines of Business relative to new products and initiatives.
  • Ensure team members are engaged and receive appropriate career development coaching and opportunities for continued growth.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise in Loan Payment and Operational Services processes, supporting applications and their interfaces.
  • Translate business needs and requirements to Technology; translate technical updates to the Process Areas and Lines of Business.
  • Exhibit critical thinking, problem solving and negotiating skills to resolve difficult and sometimes controversial issues; escalates issues as appropriate to the correct level of management.
  • Ensure organization is prepared to support project implementations through training, communication, and the development of operational procedures.
  • Lead and coordinate projects and initiatives; provide subject matter expertise, business analysis and support for small to large scale projects, including but not limited to analyzing and defining business requirements, identifying and resolving project issues, testing, implementing and supporting installations.
  • Mentor other business analysts to enhance their knowledge and experience, resulting in higher performance; identifies and provides learning opportunities to other business analysts.
  • Lead and/or participate in senior management updates and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities and propose changes to enhance operating efficiency and service delivery
  • Perform business analysis for payment and deposit related applications, including mainframe, PC, distributed systems, and web-based applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 year of established leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated technology/systems aptitude.
  • Effective at learning about business processes and translating that into how systems can benefit the business. Keen ability to grasp new concepts and processes.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives to successful completion; excellent organization skills including the proven ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and implement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple, complex assignments with competing deadlines; proven ability to prioritize commitments, assign tasks and follow up on assignments.
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members/peers to higher performance on assigned tasks to accomplish a shared vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and translate complex issues via clear and concise communications (verbal and written) to a diverse audience, inclusive of multiple layers of management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years consumer and/or commercial loan system experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Loan Payment and Operational Services workflow and practices.
  • Knowledge of banking, accounting and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of lending and default regulations.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience.
  • Project management experience, training or exposure, including experience using Workfront
  • Knowledge of payment and deposit systems, i.e., CACS/CAS, KeyView Deluxe, CLS, LoanIQ, Dealer Floorplan, Oracle Banking

As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $95,000 to $110,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
