Job Summary

Join our team as the Data Analytics Manager, where you will lead a dedicated team to enhance our organization's data analytics capabilities. Collaborate with the Technology Manager to develop and implement strategic systems and tools that support agency-wide analytics initiatives. Desired skills include knowledge of analytical concepts, statistical techniques, and data processing systems, as well as strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Manage and oversee data analytics programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Ensure data quality control and integrity through regular audits and documentation.
* Provide technical guidance on the design of GIS programs or integrations to support the development, maintenance, and transfer of GIS data.
* Support the development of strategic plans and IT projects, defining needs and managing design and testing processes.
* Supervise and mentor a team, providing performance feedback and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Partner with departments to identify needs and develop data solutions for effective reporting and analytics.

Hiring salary commensurate with experience.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role. Knowledge of local government or fire and emergency services organization preferred.


Job Contingencies and Special Requirements

Selection process will be comprehensive and will include a panel interview with a presentation(s) to stakeholder groups and a final interview. Post offer contingencies include a comprehensive background check to include fingerprinting, credit and DMV records.
