Overview
Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Scientist II to develop and supervise research projects. The Scientist II investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems as well as develops new technologies and protocols. This position will be in support of the Murtha Cancer Center Research Program (MCCRP) and Dr. Geeta Upadhyay's lab in the Department of Pathology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). The incumbent will work on developing Ly6 biomarker-based cells, biologics and pharmaceutical inhibitors for the treatment of breast cancer and prostate cancer. The incumbent will perform hands on survival surgery in orthotopic pancreatic tumor mice models. They will have in-depth understanding of antibody-based therapeutics including bi-specific antibodies for cancer treatment and high-level insight into functional assays to determine functional CART cells and NK cell based approaches. Note: This work site requires that Non-US Citizen incumbents have lived in the US three out of the past five years. The Henry M.
