~ 24Hours/week, Part-time, Day shift ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is required Position Summary The Senior Outpatient Program is a small, dedicated team that works collaboratively to address behavioral health concerns in patients aged 65 and up. Specific domains such as life transitions, grief and loss, changes in functional ability, independence, and caregiver support are discussed and reviewed along with behavioral health symptoms in need of treatment. Counseling and psychiatry/medication management are provided in our Brunswick clinic and at nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Each week, the team meets together for clinical and administrative time and prioritizes mutual support and connection. The Clinician, level III role is responsible for conducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments; documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients' medical record; conducting and documenting family and/or couples treatment of clients and their families; maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services. Participates in a leadership role in at least two Level II Clinician activities. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Addictions Treatment, or related field required 2. License/Certifications: Independent Licensure in Social Work, Counseling, or Addictions Treatment (LCPC, LCSW) required. 3. Experience: Two years of previous experience in counseling adolescents and adults dealing with substance use-related and mental health issues required. Two years of prior sobriety if in recovery at time of hire. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of an OPBH Clinician II role. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5.
