~ 40Hours/week, Full-time, Day shift ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-C) is required Position Summary The Social Worker / Clinical Counselor role evaluates the psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families and provides diagnostic/preventive and treatment user services including individual, family and group therapy. The Social Worker/Clinical Counselor works in collaboration with other health/mental health professionals and provides consultation to the treatment team regarding patient/family social and environmental needs. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Master's degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required. 2. License/Certifications: Maine state licensure to practice as a LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCPC-C required. Licensure by the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred. Licensure by the Maine Board of Counseling Professionals preferred. Certification by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work preferred. 3. Experience: Two years of work experience in a health or mental health setting preferred. 4.
