Description The Behavioral Health Faculty will be responsible for the development and implementation of the behavioral health curriculum at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency in Portland. This is a professional, clinical teaching position, providing teaching, curriculum development, and overview of the education of the Family Medicine Residents and medical students in Behavioral Health, particularly in relation to the biopsychosocial model of patient care, assessment and management of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses, interpersonal violence, motivational interviewing, family-oriented care, and the doctor-patient relationship. The Family Medicine practices in Portland and Falmouth serve a patient population with diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Desired Qualifications:
