Description MaineHealth Behavioral Health ~ Per Diem / Weekday and Weekend Scheduling Options Available ~ Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c)is required We are seeking per diem Behavioral Health Clinicians to join our passionate and dedicated team at MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor! Fast paced, challenging work for the right clinician who enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team. Set on 50 private acres, MaineHealth Behavioral Health at Spring Harbor is southern Maine's only private psychiatric treatment and recovery center. Our inpatient programs for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults provide hope for those who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance use), as well as, Maine's only hospital treatment unit for youth who experience both mental illness and a developmental disorder, such as autism. We are fortunate to have a unique collaboration with Maine Medical Center, which allows us to offer the most complete array of psychiatric treatment, physician-training, and medical-research programs north of Boston. Summary Level I:The role of Behavioral Health Clinician I, working under a conditional license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The counselor is also responsible for maintaining clinical records, collaborating with community providers, and participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning. The Behavioral Health Clinician I will be under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure. Level II:The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
