  • For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 sign on for Registered Nurses with 0-1.99yearsof experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with 2+years of experience!

    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Your Role:
This clinical leadership position is responsible for provision of effective operations, education, management and leadership of hospice programs and staff in their assigned area. The Hospice Clinical Coordinator leads, guides, supports, and directs staff to provide highly reliable, evidenced-based, patient-family centered quality care for terminally ill patients of all ages in their homes. This position reports to the Hospice Director.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing required plus three years of hospice care experience, including one year of supervisory and home health experience, or an Associates Degree in nursing or other clinical area with three to five years of hospice homecare experience, including more than a year of home health experience.
2. License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure for appropriate clinical designation. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
3. Experience: See "Education"
4. Proficient with Electronic Health Record.
5. Strong and effective leadership skills.
6. Ability to manage staff in a hectic environment to achieve Agency goals and quality care outcomes.
7. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff and coworkers. 8. Excellent customer service skills.
