Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart timeED Tech position. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible.

CurrentMaineHealthmember employees are ineligible; former MaineHealthMembersare ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

**Day shift from 7Am to 7PM**

Summary

Summary:
The Emergency Department Technician II - LH PBH WH role assists the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities such as stocking, results retrieval and patient tracking. Under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, this role will perform patient care such as vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy and other simple procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: EMT or CNA training required. 2. License/Certifications: Current EMT - Basic license or CNA Certification required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: One year of experience in an acute care experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Emergency Department Technician role. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
