Job Description:

Position Summary:

Applications Manager in MC photolithography Applications team to provide technical support for Liquid Filtration/Purification Applications focused on Photolithography and related Applications. Primarily this includes new product testing to support new product development and existing product testing to support customer needs. The person will be responsible for communicating findings to the product management and R&D Organizations. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for leading application methods development and testing in support of a broad range of new liquid filtration & purification products used in fabrication of semiconductors. You will work in a very dynamic international environment with a talented team of engineers and scientists. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker that has semiconductor Fab experience or chemical manufacturing experience in lithography areas as a process or tool engineer with a desire to solve challenging tasks.

Applications Manager will be also responsible for Photolithography Liquid Filtration/Purification Applications. Primarily this includes Plan/Design/Schedule/Conducting experiments relevant to support applications area, collaborating with Strategic Leading-Edge Semiconductor companies and Chemical Manufacturers to develop DOE that can show the capability of Entegris products.

He/She will ensure that the activities provide high levels of customer satisfactions by working closely with Product/Project Management. In addition, the candidate must be a team player being able to lead a team of Technicians and/or Engineers.

Responsibilities:

* Lead team of engineers and technicians to support photolithography business and customer goals while helping mentor and develop skills/careers of direct reports;

* Focus on metal purification, application testing method development for various lithography applications and modelling;

* Collaborate with Strategic leading-edge Semiconductor and Chemical Manufacturer to develop DOE that can show the capability of Entegris Products in the Applications. Identify and feedback new Product ideas;

* Support other Organizations to provide the understanding, requirements and role of Entegris products in the applications;

* Work closely with New Product Development and Marketing to ensure Product Requirements are realized through specific application testing and method development;

* Support New Product Introduction throughout the Staged Gate process by executing the required applications testing deliverables;

* Support Marketing and Sales with Customers requests

* Understand and share market and industry roadmaps to provide insightful data ahead of product requirements;

* Research and understand competitive products and technologies;

* Transfer of knowledge and capabilities to Research, Development, Engineering and Marketing teams

* Work with R&D, Engineering and Product Managers to generate detailed reports, data packages and technical papers to support the performance of new products;

* As a project leader, drive ambiguous point to clarity while providing action plans/recommendations to deliver on complex, difficult, and sometimes under defined goals;

* Analyze requests vs existing technology to assess technical feasibility, cost, time and required resources to complete projects;

* Champion Entegris technology leadership by participating to conferences and publish technical papers;

* Mentor/coach junior team members.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

* Masters or PhD degree in related technical discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) and > 5 years' experience are preferred;

* Knowledge of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering principles (fluid flow, mass transfer and heat transfer) is desired;

* Experience in semiconductor Fab processes and chemical manufacturing and specifically in lithography processes and materials is desired;

* Understanding of the processes used to manufacturing integrated circuits, particularly filtration, equipment and technical trends is a plus;

* Experience with basic recirculation stand design, fabrication and assembly such that they can model bench top methods using in house resources for proof of concept;

* Ability to convey ideas and conclusions with data is a must. Candidates should have a solid understanding of statistics, SPC, and DOEs;

* Some travel (domestic & international) should be expected.
