Pay Rate: $22/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Project Accountant Responsibilities: Track certified payroll as required for projects Coordinate monthly vendor payments once received from the owner, ensuring vendor compliance Handle subcontractor pre-qualification, lien waivers, joint payments, and related processes Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase order commitments Track subcontractor COI (Certificate of Insurance) expiration and ensure timely renewals Process non-committed vendor invoices and support the preparation of project budget reporting Participate in Buy Out Meetings and assist with Subcontract, Preconstruction, and Coordination meetings Attend Monthly Project Review Meetings to provide updates and support decision-making Track and submit weekly field inventory tickets, ensuring accurate logs and resolving discrepancies Manage critical documentation (owner pay apps, RFI's, CO's) within EFMS Assist with utility account setups in coordination with IT services Support the preparation and tracking of close-out activities for completed projects Qualifications: 3-5 years of A/P experience, ideally within the construction industry Previous project cost accounting experience preferred Employee Benefits: Our benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
