Brand Management VISTA

This full-time AmeriCorps service position offers a great opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of others while building your own knowledge and skillset.
AmeriCorps VISTA members are Volunteers in Service to America who perform indirect service to build capacity and sustainable solutions.
What will you do?
The brand management VISTA will develop creative content and a consistent plan for multiple professional social media accounts to increase the affiliate's presence and engagement on various social media platforms. They will analyze and draw conclusions from social media insights and help to build a professional page from the ground up. They will also support the organization in their marketing and design endeavors and accompany Public Relations Manager on regular trips to the local radio station and community events to promote organization's current events and/or needs.
- Analyze insights for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts.
- Gain hands-on experience with marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and email marketing platforms, analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns to optimize future strategies.
- Alongside Public Relations Manager, develop data-driven marketing strategies that address diverse organizational needs, such as expanding volunteer outreach and maximizing event participation.
- Develop flyers and graphics for events and programs as needed.
- Implement the production of long- and short-form video content for social media and YouTube accounts.
- Develop a manual of resources and directions on how to best promote social media accounts to outside community organizations to showcase new builds and programs presented by WCHFH.
This position will focus on brand management aspects of Habitat affiliate operations.

- Activities and attractions: Warren County is a very beautiful, rural area with tons of nature, walking, hiking and cycling trails. Notable hikes and nature preserves are Worthington State Forest, Mount Tammany, and the Orchard View Lavender Farm. Some noteworthy historical sites include the Blairstown Museum, Delaware River Railroad Excursions, and Millbrook Village. Just across the river into PA lies the city of Easton, which is bursting with restaurants and fun activities. About an hour from Washington (the location of this particular host site) is Dorney Park, one of the well-known amusement parks on the East Coast. For more active or adventurous folks, Warren County is home to Villa Roller Rink, Top View Riding Ranch for horseback riding, the Land of Make Believe for children and the Lakota Wolf Preserve.
- Unique projects: The VISTA member will be involved in marketing and designing for our annual fundraiser, Beams and Dreams. This project involves creating flyers, postcards, and other physical marketing materials, planning social media posts, email blasts, getting into different publications, and designing necessary stationary for event. The VISTA will also be involved with our annual Radiothon, where they will also work in marketing and design, but communicate with Radiothon guests and form a relationship with the radio station employees as well.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold one of the following citizenship statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident Aliens or is a person residing in a state that have the following legal residency classifications: refugee, asylum or asylee, temporary protected status, or deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) status. Applicants must be at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
