We are seeking a Staff Accountant who will perform a variety of general accounting tasks, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting various audits and projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to provide financial analysis and support.

Job Duties:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of month-end financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment required.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move about the office as needed.
• Occasional reaching, bending, and stooping to access files, office supplies, or equipment.
• Visual and auditory ability to perform work-related tasks.
