Manufacturing Technician- Electronics

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Manufacturing Technician (Electronics)for our FW Murphy Production Controls business located in Rosenberg, TX. We manufacture and deliver a wide range of instrumentation and control solutions for the Oil & Gas Production and Natural Gas Compression markets. Our products improve the protection, performance, and reliability of the Natural Gas Supply Chain while protecting our environment and creating systems and equipment to help producers stay in compliance and meet stringent emission regulations. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform preventive, predictive maintenance and total productive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns using instruments, blueprints, manuals, manufacturer specifications, machine diagnosis, control parameters, PLC ladder diagrams, and experience.
• Interact with operators, supervisors, co-workers in a team-oriented fashion towards a common goal.
• Research manuals and instructions from component manufacturers.
• Bring Electronics experience to troubleshoot boards, PCBAs, to the component level.
• Keep records of faults and alarms by date and machine number in computer database.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing products, processes, and procedures.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineer in NPI (New Product Introduction) and process improvement.
• Provide production floor support as required.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interest in and experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Must be familiar with LOTO standards.
• Working knowledge of PCBAs, PLC s, AC and DC drives, Human Machine Interfaces, etc.

ALSO GREAT IF YOU BRING/ PREFERENCES

• 2 or more years of Production Operations experience preferred.
• Efficient problem-solving skills.
• Strong computers skills, including data entry, documentation, presentations.
