The ONESOURCE Solution Consulting Team is responsible for engaging with current and prospective customers by demonstrating software value props in an effort to transform client tax processes. From a business perspective, the Teams' efforts maximize sales and drive revenue growth for the Thomson Reuters Corporates Business.

As a key member of the Solution Consulting Team, the Solution Consultant will be responsible for understanding the complexities of a Corporate Tax Department and showcasing how ONESOURCE can solve challenges fulfilling the departments' needs through live and web-based presentations. The Solution Consultant will partner with key business stakeholders both internally and externally to plan and execute successful demonstrations and presentations. This involves working with all parties to understand various tax processes, data challenges, and technology needs all while identifying the
applicable ONESOURCE software solutions that will address the customers' specific business objectives.

A key objective of this role is to efficiently communicate how tax technology can provide process optimization and reduce risk inside a Corporate Tax Department. The Solution Consultant is considered a subject matter expert who informs the way forward!

Travel: 10-20%

About the Role

  • Sales demonstrations to new and existing customers for all ONESOURCE products and services in conjunction with Account Teams within the target market.
  • Delivery and creation of leadership initiatives, user events (user groups, roundtables, trade shows), software releases, and software enhancements.
  • Professionally represent ONESOURCE to all levels of buyers as well as internal and external partners.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, (Master's or CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax, accounting, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax laws and regulations
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with tax or accounting software (ONESOURCE preferred)
  • Proven competence with MS Office
  • Creative problem solver; flexibility
  • Technically savvy and technology curious; hunger to learn and help
  • Quick learner; ability to work independently
  • Interest in and talent for tax accounting and systems
  • Formal presentation experience; consultative selling and negotiation
  • A thorough knowledge of tax software products, business accounting software products, ERP, and consulting services

The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $111,700 - $207,400. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $101,500 - $188,500. The target total cash compensation range in other locations may vary. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
