Maker's Space Assistant

Are you excited about helping students bring their ideas to life in a hands-on, creative environment? We're looking for a Maker Space Assistant to help keep our maker space running smoothly and support students as they explore and create. In this role, you'll assist with day-to-day operations, help students with their projects, and ensure the space remains clean, organized, and accessible to all.

What You'll Do:

• Provide hands-on support to students as they work on creative projects, guiding them in using the maker space tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all users.
• Assist with entry-level projects, helping students learn the basics of 3D printing, laser engraving, crafting, and hand tools.
• Promote the maker space's resources and opportunities to students, faculty, and staff, encouraging more people to take advantage of this collaborative space.

Qualifications:

• Some familiarity with 3D printing, laser engraving, or crafting tools is a plus, but don't worry-additional training will be provided.
• A passion for supporting others in a creative, hands-on setting.

Flexible Hours: 10-20 per week
Competitive Pay: $20-25/hr
