POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Operations Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems. This role involves hardware and software installation, network management, and troubleshooting. The IT Systems Administrator will work closely with the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to implement IT policies and procedures and provide technical support to staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Kind & Length of Experience:
- Min 2 years of experience in IT system administration or a similar role.
- Experience with network management and IT security.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services
- Perform regular system updates and backups.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security and compliance with company policies.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions.
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner.
- Document and track IT issues and resolutions.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company data.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Primary location will be Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Possible travel to other Cremer facilities.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of IT systems and services.
- Maintain network security and compliance with company policies.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to staff.
- Successfully implement IT projects within the specified timeframe and budget.
