Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Warranty Service Analyst II who will provide prompt, accurate technical support to sales representatives, customers, and service groups regarding warranty service support. Works with Tech Support, Application Engineers, Engineering and Factory to resolve claims to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and company. Location: Hybrid. Plymouth, MN

What you will do:



  • Provides technical support and consultation to sales representatives, customers, and services groups regarding warranty issues
  • Serves as a Daikin representative to facilitate and resolve warranty claims by negotiating agreements between Company and Customers
  • Investigates customer warranty data to identify areas of improvement
  • Establish and lead reviews with cross-functional team members to address findings from claim data analysis
  • Works with TRC and Quality to incorporate improvement initiatives
  • Responds to customer's inquiries regarding warranty coverage, terms, claims processes
  • Challenge warranty denials on a technical or contractual basis; interpret and administer contract warranty terms
  • Tracks and follow-up on disputed warranty requests
  • Work closely with client areas to resolve warranty issues promptly and expeditiously
  • Report on top warranty labor and material claims
  • Use various computer programs to process and track warranty and back-charge claims
  • Provide and assist in general warranty policies

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent HVAC experience
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:




  • 8-10 years of HVAC products including compressors, VFD's blowers, heating equipment, system controls


  • Experience with Salesforce


  • Experience with Microsoft Office
