Global Merchandising Services (GMS) is a centralized organization ultimately responsible for ensuring Hallmark's product is displayed in-store and ready for purchase! Comprised of over 10,000 Hallmarkers, we are the largest organization at Hallmark Cards. Each year, our team completes thousands of installations, visits tens of thousands of rooftops, and services millions of feet of fixtures to effectively display Hallmark Greeting Cards, Gift Presentation, Stationery, & Gifts.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

As a Territory Manager (TM) in the Central region, you will lead a team of over 100 Hallmarkers responsible to bring displays to life that enable a more caring and connected world for our shoppers. You will be responsible to lead, develop and inspire a supervisor team that sets priorities and ensures retail execution in over 900 locations across mass, drug, discount, department, value, USPS, and specialty retail channels. You will set and communicate strategic priorities for your territory as well as evaluate performance leveraging targeted KPIs. You will also lead Human Resources and Legal compliance within your territory including performance management, talent development, and onboarding new talent. This position will be based in the Midwest in Iowa, but spans into the bordering states.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • At least 4 years of people leadership experience


  • No record of any driving-related violations or offense involving drug or alcohol within the last 5 years and less than 3 driving-related violations in a 3-year period



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • At least 3 years of mass channel, drug store, food store, consumer product goods (CPG), vendor, or retail experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work independently
  • Leadership and people management skills: ability to direct, manage and motivate a part-time service team
  • Organizational and time management skills: ability to multi-task and manage multiple, changing priorities
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively (written & verbal)
  • Customer relationship building skills: ability to develop current and new customer relationships
  • A demonstrated comfort using Microsoft Office products (TEAMs, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau, etc.) to help drive business results
  • Endless curiosity to learn and drive impact




ADDITIONAL DETAILS



  • This position will be based in the Central region (most stores are in Iowa, but territory also includes parts of Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin). Candidates who apply should currently reside within the territory geography.
  • You will be required to flex your scheduled based on the needs of the business. This would include a home-based office with the expectation that travel to any part of your territory (including occasional overnight) may be required.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 and includes a company car.
