Java Production Support Engineer

Our client, an industry leader, has an exciting opportunity for a Java Production Support Engineer

to work on a 12 month + contract role working hybrid onsite two weeks a month in Westlake, TX. This is a contract consulting role available for W-2 only with a rate range of $55/hr to $60/hr on a w-2 basis.

* Manage production incidents related to healthcare application data and escalate code issues by creating production incidents.

* Identify and troubleshoot data and code issues effectively within a healthcare application.

* Collaborate with global teams across the USA and India to support seamless operations.

* Work fully within Agile methodologies to ensure project alignment and rapid iteration.

* Communicate effectively with both technical and business partners, as well as systems partners, for client-facing channels.

* Proficiency in Java, Spring, API, REST, HTML, and PostgreSQL.

* Strong SQL skills, especially with complex queries involving multiple tables and schemas.

* Experience with one or more cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

* Familiarity with Docker, Kafka, Drop Wizard, and Microservice Architecture.
