Responsibilities:

  • Member of Data Science Center of Excellence team to develop, document, and articulate statistical modeling techniques, inclusive of data caveats and model training performed, in support of best-in-class modeling approaches for key business questions across the enterprise to ensure consistency of methodologies.

  • Develop and test out new analytic approaches and tools to enhance existing data science capabilities (e.g. marketing mix modeling, test/control, omnichannel next-best action analytics, subnational alerts, etc) and continuously improve business insights development across our US enterprise business.

  • Guide vendors on various projects and ensuring robustness of modeling outputs and a standardized approaches to analytic processes in the development of MVPs for future enterprise scaling.

  • Collaborate and partner effectively with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Commercial Insights, Finance and Marketing teams, offshore team members, to support the creation of AI/ML approaches to answer senior management business queries.

  • Create presentations and communicate results/findings to internal stakeholders

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, operations research/management, business analytics, or engineering

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial analytics.

  • 4+ years of experience in developing product-level ML algorithms.

  • Experience creating production-level Python & SQL models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in healthcare-related commercial analytics.

  • Superior technical and problem-solving skills, with in-depth knowledge of various statistical modeling techniques and their application within complex analytical projects, e.g promotion response modeling/ROI, regression modeling, optimization, machine learning techniques, and Test-control analysis, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of promotional impact assessment approaches and ability to translate analytic results into actionable insights/recommendations.

  • Experience with pharma data sources including promotional data (HCP and consumer), Xponent, DDD, Patient level data.

  • Experience with Data Visualization tools, and Apache Spark.

  • Linear and non-linear optimization modeling expertise along with R, Python, and SQL coding experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience in managing stakeholders and offshore teams, strong execution ability to run and manage end-to-end analytical projects and deliver meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
