Do you have Customer Service experience in a business setting?

Our client is located in the Appleton area is a company that focuses on building things that matter. This position will be working as a part of their Machine Sales Team and will support the Inside Sales Support initiative. As a Machine Sales Customer Support associate, you will be provided a challenging and rewarding work environment where you will create a positive experience for customers through problem solving and fulfilling their needs.

As part of the Customer Service team, you become an important part of how people build, repair and create to make this a better, brighter world.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter orders, expedite orders, assist with creating quotes and handle returns
  • Look up orders for an issues, track orders, communicate with customers with updates
  • Process requests from the Sales team and working with distributors on quoting, building packages, pricing and lead times
  • Review commercial invoices for missing information and work with the international group to find information needed
  • Take inbound calls to assist customers and the Sales team with product and or account assistance
  • Review and respond to time sensitive emails
  • Update backorders and communicate updates to distributors and the sales team

General Information:

Hours: Full time, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Length: Temporary 6-9 months, potential to become permanent based on workload

Pay: $20/hour-$22/hour, based on experience

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of Customer Service experience in a business/office setting required, preferably over the phone
  • Any technical, mechanical or automotive aptitude is a plus (working with your hands - it seems to help to catch onto their products)
  • Meet deadlines, handle customer issues quickly and efficiently, strong problem solving skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude, while being self-motivated, with a desire to help the customer
  • Proficiency with Outlook with a high level of comfort in moving between multiple screens and software
  • Make sound customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose professional emails
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
