Responsibilities
  • Learn, promote, and help define the future of Cirrus Logic's PC Audio portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including applications engineering, firmware, drivers, field engineering, and sales to enable promotional launch of new products
  • Create promotional marketing collateral for sales team, train sales on technical and commercial positioning
  • Coordinate with engineering to enable mass market customer support including hardware & software customer support planning, and technical documentation
  • Discover market opportunities and trends through market research - including customer trends, pricing, segmentation, and competitive analysis
  • Help define product roadmap through collaboration with marketing, sales, and engineering
Required Qualifications
  • Currently in senior year of Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience or coursework in Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, and Semiconductors/Integrated Circuits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Naturally collaborative; able to influence and solve problems across functional boundaries.
  • Self-motivated go-getter who ambitiously drives solutions and doesn't wait for instruction.
  • Comfortable in a 'gray space' role: can take an open-ended goal and create an action plan, without needing to be told exactly what tasks to do.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a logical approach to problem solving.
  • Natural ability to tackle unfamiliar technical problems and learn quickly.
  • Interest in engineering as well as business.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree Specialization in Integrated Circuits, Semiconductors, or Electronics.
  • A passion for audio, including specialization in audio and/or experience with audio outside of coursework.
  • Studied or studying business in some capacity- MBA, Major, or Minor in Business/Economics.
Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
