The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG). ResponsibilitiesThe Account Executive will leverage a multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies. Responsibilities: Customer and Partner Advocacy: o Develop and oversee the execution of account plans to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. o Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.o Advocate on behalf of customers and partners internally, ensuring their requests and needs are addressed across Mission. Sales Excellence and Growth: o Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams across solution areas to achieve growth in revenue and market share. o Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans inclusive of internal and commercial solution development and aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives. o Promote cloud consumption and digital transformation, considering short and long-term goals and performance expectations. Industry and Market Knowledge: o Build and maintain a strong understanding of customers' industries, business strategies, and commercial solution goals. o Gain deeper insights through direct engagement in customers' and partners' businesses and operations.Partner development and workload growth* Develop and execute a strategic and tactical partner business plan aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives for managed partners to grow their business. You will promote cloud consumption and digital transformation; plans will consider short and long-term goals and performance expectations aligned with partner needs and capabilities. Executive Relationship Building: o Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partners and align their priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft's. o Facilitate collaboration between customer and Microsoft sales teams to overcome obstacles, ideate on new commercial solutions, and create business plans to meet consumption and revenue targets. Performance and Impact: o Drive adoption, usage, and performance of programs and investments that contribute to sales and consumption in a sell to and through capacity.o Enable customer to build high-impact Microsoft Defense Industrial Base (DIB) offerings and partner practices to grow their business and deliver cloud consumption and digital transformation. o Be accountable for partners' performance with Microsoft and maintain a regular rhythm of connection with executive, sales, and delivery teams.
