Summary

The Lead Associate, Corporate Partnerships is a key member supporting the management and growth of the technology partnerships portfolio at Save the Children. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Corporate Partnerships and Senior Officer, Corporate Partnerships to drive revenue through new and existing partnerships and develop assets and value propositions reflecting needs across our domestic and international programs. In addition to supporting the team on large, complex partnerships, you will be responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio of partnerships to reach department revenue goals and drive impact for children in the US and around the world.

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Account Support Managing Existing Partners (40%):



  • Support team to develop, manage and steward existing high-profile corporate partnerships worth approximately $2.5M+.
  • For all grants and commitments assigned, work with the account manager, program teams, writers and marketing and communications to ensure all reporting, media and communication commitments are met in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of the vision, strategy and overall relationship with the corporate partner, as directed by the account lead.


Account Management & Growth (30%):



  • Manage portfolio of 1-3 assigned corporate partners to deliver revenue of at least $500K annually. The Lead Associate will be responsible for all aspects of the partnership including corporate grant/contributions, cause promotions, GIK of product and/or expertise, employee engagement and communications planning.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and adapt the relationship vision, strategy, engagement plan and key performance indicators for managed accounts. With the account manager, drive the proposal development process and ensure all reporting requirements are met.
  • Liaise with other areas of Save the Children to ensure programs and campaigns are effectively executed, and track information related to the donor in our customer relationship management system.


Department Support (20%):



  • Support the department in daily duties related to managing current partners, such as conducting research, drafting communications and creating pitch presentations.
  • Contribute towards the implementation of the Corporate Team's strategic plans as required and assigned.


Knowledge Management (10%):



  • Actively develop strong working knowledge of agency and department level priorities.
  • Conduct research on specific accounts, individuals, corporate philanthropy and Corporate Social Responsibility trends proactively and as assigned.
  • Conduct data entry and maintenance as assigned in Save the Children's customer relationship management system.


Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven success in presentation, communications and writing skills
  • Proven ability to navigate challenging situations to achieve goals and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and take initiative, with a high degree of internal and external customer service
  • Demonstrated research capabilities
  • Proven successful organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion and commitment to Save the Children's mission and values
  • Ability to travel, estimated at 10%, internationally & domestically as required
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English



    Preferred Qualifications



    • Background in not-for-profit organizations with emphasis on client facing experience
    • Understanding of latest trends in tech sector


    Compensation

    Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:



    • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $66,300 - $74,100 base salary


    • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $60,350 - $67,450 base salary


    • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $54,400 - $60,800 base salary


    The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.

    Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here). Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
