JOB BRIEF

The primary responsibility of a Documentation Specialist in the Derivatives Group is to negotiate ISDA documentation between Key and our counterparty clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
  • Complete ECP analysis of counterparty and guarantors for new swap transaction, additional exposure and line renewals.
  • Review credit agreements and collateral documents to ensure swap transactions are secured.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate ISDAs, Amendments, Pledge Agreements, Guarantees and credit support annexes (as applicable) for clients in accordance with KeyBank's policy, as well as, provide customer service by corresponding with clients, credit, legal or LOB relating to deficient documentation or changes to Key's standard provisions.
  • Provide Dodd Frank documentation to the client for completion.
  • Responsible for onboarding client for KYC, DARQ, Beneficial Owner Certification.
  • Review signed ISDAs, Dodd Frank documentation, resolutions and credit approvals to ensure they are complete,
  • Update DIR to reflect status of documents, Dodd Frank onboarding and compliance so the marketer is able to trade.
  • Responsible for setting clients up on Key's swap valuation website (KDO) as requested by client and ensuring the system upgrades.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS
  • 1-2 years of work experience

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work within a team based environment.
