Manufacturing Maintenance Technician-First or Second Shift

Job Summary: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment including but not limited to compressed air systems, emergency lighting, and dust collection systems. Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment.
  • Fabricate replacement parts when necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization/fulfillment equipment and support equipment.
  • Work with machine operators to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files.
  • Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues.
  • Implement programs to increase OEE.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Accountabilities:
  • Reports to Maintenance Manager.
Job Specifications:
  • Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities.
  • Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid.
  • Requires normal hand, eye, and walking coordination.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred.
  • 1 year experience in general machining (lath, milling, grinding).
  • 1-2 years CNC operation/repair experience recommended.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Requires a strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical/pneumatic schematics.
  • Must possess the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and willing to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Must possess an excellent knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Must possess strong mathematics and computer skills.
