Fit up and MIG weld standard industrial air equipment assemblies out of galvanized and mild steel by applying appropriate welding techniques. Performa quality checks of work by use of print specification.

Role Responsibilities:

• Be able to MIG weld basic flat, horizontal, and vertical down position.
• Basic blueprint reading and understand basic weld symbols.
• Must be able to use various measuring devices.
• Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand.
• Use of grinders, sanders, drills, and basic hand tools to file, sand, grind, or polish metal
• Have the ability to weld MIG on mild steel.
• Ability to use a PC.
• Ability to read, understand and identify blueprints and materials needed for each job.
• Meet quality expectations by examining products or work to verify conformance to specifications and having attention to detail.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours.
• Understand and follow work instructions as applicable.
• Comply with standard work practices and SOPs.
• Segregate nonconforming or suspected nonconforming material real time and notify supervisor.
• Maintain welding machines or equipment; keep area organized and clean.
• Complies with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required.

• A minimum of one (1) year trade related.
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
• Flexibility and agility in an ever-changing environment
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.

Salary Range:

$ 21.78 - $ 24.70
