Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm Pay Range: $55 - $62 Requirements The Proton/Photon Radiation Oncology Therapist provides high quality radiation therapy care to the patients and their families in Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Oncology Therapist will be a member of a specialized team of caregivers caring for radiation oncology patients at Sibley. Implements, documents, and administers radiation to patients and, with the entire team which includes pediatric and adult patients, monitors clinical and psychosocial needs and responses to therapy Provides education and psychosocial support to patients and families Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Manager and Lead Therapist. Operates all Radiation Oncology related equipment, i.e. CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and various computer equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivelent is required ARRT certification is required BLS certification is required Minimum of 2 years proton experience is highly preferred Johns HopkinsHealth Systemand its affiliatesare an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
