About the Role:

We're looking for a dynamic and intellectually curious Sr Brand Manager, Famous Amos & Royal Dansk. As the Sr Brand Manager, Famous Amos & Royal Dansk, you'll manage two direct reports. The primary responsibility is to develop and execute brand strategies to achieve the 3-year brand goals for both brands, with a focus on driving both top and bottom-line growth.

This role is hybrid and located in Chicago, IL. This position reports into the VP, Distinctive Brands Portfolio (Famous Amos, Mother's, Murray, and Royal Dansk).

Main Responsibilities:

Business and Brand Analysis, Monitoring and Reporting



  • In-depth market, competitive and brand analysis to assist in formulating brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category
  • Analyze business and brand results to ensure strategies are working and objectives are being realized, recommending course correction where relevant
  • Prepare and create engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations
  • Own and actively manage brand marketing budget



Product Management



  • Lead qualitative and quantitative market research briefing through to interpreting result and making recommendations for innovation and renovation
  • Lead innovation development with cross-functional team from concept to opportunity assessment through launch within our internal stage gate process
  • Partnerwith Finance to ensure profitability with innovation while guiding R&D on formula cost thresholds
  • Work closely with Category management and Trade Marketing to develop compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovation



Brand Equity and Communications Planning and Execution



  • Lead agency partners in creative development, asset development and execution of consumer and shopper activation
  • Ensure coherency across all consumer and shopper touchpoints to, drive cohesive and impactful messaging and trademark consistency in all communications
  • Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), offering recommendations for optimization of plans/assets



Leadership



  • Lead, motivate and develop team members
  • Nurture an effective working relationship with business unit counterparts and lead proper field execution of marketing strategies


Who we are looking for:

  • 7+ yearsexperience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Experience working with syndicated databases; i.e. IRI, ACNielsen
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
  • Solid project management skills from planning stage to execution and final assessment in order to achieve brand objectives and goals
  • Well-versed in Budget Management; Previous management of P&L
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, withan ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion, energy and drive to work with world-class brands
  • Must be self-motivated and exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Well-versed in Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Experience managing a team andcreative agencies
