JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) is seeking a Lab Coordinator to coordinate operational activities in the Energy Institute's research laboratories. The coordinator will ensure laboratory security, efficiency, safety, and quality control; serve as the safety officer; assist with planning labs, experiments, and research projects; provide support to students and other researchers; ensure equipment and material availability; maintain relationships with agencies, contractors, vendors; comply and report project funding, sourcing, and research progress data; assist with development of grants and proposals.
