Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Adjunct Faculty to teach Counseling courses at the graduate level. This position will be responsible for teaching course(s) online, assessing student-submitted work, and following course objectives and syllabus prepared for the course. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • CRC or LPC Licensure;
  • MS in Counseling or a related area.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Counseling or a related area;
  • Experience teaching online.

Job Duties:

  • Teach assigned courses online;
  • Assess student-submitted work;
  • Follow course objectives and syllabus prepared for the course.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of classroom instruction;
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate a diverse population of students;
  • Collegial and cordial attitude toward interaction with colleagues, students, and staff;
  • Demonstrable content knowledge of Counseling and closely related fields and the ties between the field and various allied disciplines;
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills;
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work with minimal direct super
