Bunge's Danville, IL location is filling multiple openings in our Packing & Loading Department. Loader/Unloader is responsible for the safe operation of the packing and loading department. The role will work 12-hour shifts under a 2, 2, 3 pattern on D crew that starts at 5:00 PM and ends at 5:00 AM.

Job description:

Load and unload bulk and bag products with a focus on safety, quality and production. Work in a team atmosphere to ensure orders are shipped to customers.

Job duties:

  • Load and unload cars and trucks with designated products.
  • Clean and prepare cars for loading and unloading of Corn Operations products.
  • Keep inventory of bags being loaded and keep accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.
  • Inspect product for quality and report any irregularities.
  • Perform minor repair work as required for efficient loading operations.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Skills/requirements:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic math.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding the operations of the packing and loading department.
  • Be able to work effectively with others in a team environment.
