About the Role

Industry Strategy

  • Lead the point of view for Thomson Reuters's Risk and Fraud business unit for Government across State & Local, and Education
  • Find opportunities and recommend approaches to scale industry influence and messaging (both internally and externally)
  • Provide insights and expertise internally to Thomson Reuters Executive Management, Field Operations (sales, renewals), Support (marketing, training, communications, analyst relations) as well as Product Marketing and engineering
  • Establish strong executive relationships with Thomson Reuters's premier clients and partners through select engagements, credibility, and experience in the Government space
  • Craft strategies to drive market penetration of Thomson Reuters Risk and Fraud solutions into Government agencies and partners

Industry Marketing

  • Partner with Demand Generation and Product Marketing to build and implement a comprehensive campaign strategy for Government and marketing content aligned with Thomson Reuters's go-to-market strategy and revenue goals
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate industry expertise at key industry events, conferences, forums, analyst and media briefings, as well as critical customer meetings
  • Increase awareness of Thomson Reuters's Risk and Fraud leadership within Government agencies through thought leadership; white papers, blogs, speaking events, and executive roundtables
  • Inform and develop strong alignment with Analyst Relations and Communications and competitive intelligence positioning

Industry Enablement

  • Drive the Risk and Fraud for Government agenda through the development and management of a portfolio of Industry Use Cases and content assets that illustrate specific business challenges and how they can be solved by an accurate combination of Thomson Reuters solutions
  • Partner with Product Marketing to build and deliver industry-specific enablement training to maximize Field / Sales / Partner capabilities
  • Drive internal communications, knowledge sharing and enablement assets across the global Thomson Reuters Public Sector ecosystem
  • Based on an outstanding understanding of government agencies, work with the sales organization on account plans and strategies by providing insights into challenges and guidance on approaches and messaging and positioning

About You

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in either the marketing function within a Government agency, software company marketing to government agencies, or a top-tier management consulting organization
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, partner, business development, product marketing, & product management organizations
  • Experience in crafting Risk and Fraud or marketing strategies along with a high-level understanding of the technologies and tactics needed for execution
  • Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills, and can engage, advise and encourage C-suite executives
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including a talent for conducting research, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights & recommendations
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, partner, business development, product marketing, & product management organizations
  • Strong analytical proficiency, ability to articulate and evangelize the power of Risk and Fraud solutions in Government

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $102,200 - $189,800. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This job posting will close 01/19/2025.
