A Day in the Life:
Advise business leaders on complex accounting issues in accordance with US GAAP, develop and maintain Bunge's accounting policies, analyze and develop implementation plans for new accounting standards, and facilitate US GAAP training programs and materials.
Coordinate globally and across functions (controlling, treasury, legal, tax, commercial) to achieve management objectives and facilitate growth while ensuring US GAAP compliance.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Serve as an expert US GAAP resource, including the preparation and/or review of technical accounting memos.
* Assist in the development and implementation of global US GAAP Trainings.
* Develop, communicate, and maintain accounting policies and practices.
* Analyze and implement newly adopted US GAAP accounting standards.
* Communicate and educate organizational resources across functions.
* Assist in the review of the Company's quarterly and annual SEC filings, with an emphasis on review of critical accounting policies and adequacy of footnote disclosures.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant, required (US CPA) or equivalent
8-10 years public accounting or 10+ years public/private accounting mix
Mandatory fluent written and spoken English
Previous experience in the Ag industry is a plus
Previous experience in an accounting policy role is a plus
Strong technical accounting knowledge required, with experience researching and applying US GAAP, including consolidation accounting, business combinations, derivative and hedge accounting, fair value, accounting for impairments, among other topics. The candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to research and advise on local GAAP and IFRS topics.
The application of significant judgment to reach conclusions that will have broad organizational impacts.
The ability to work constructively to minimize negative business impacts without compromising US GAAP compliance. Further, conclusions will often be relied upon to structure arrangements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
