Job Summary

Serves as Associate Director for Research Administration within the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. Oversees the day-to-day research operations and objectives of the Cybersecurity program to promote the overall success of the program and meet goals and objectives. Manages coordinates, and supports the Strategic Initiative programs within the Jack D. Gordon Institute.

  • Oversees the day-to-day research activities and operations of the Jack D. Gordon Institute's Cybersecurity policy programming to meet goals and objectives.
  • Plans, promotes, and manages Cybersecurity policy program activities and courses.
  • Manages program data, reporting, and provides support to the Director of Research Administration.
  • Works closely with the Director with the direction and management of research grants for the Cybersecurity program.
  • Supports the Director of Research Administration in collecting, managing, and analyzing data.
  • Oversees reporting program progress and outcomes toward meeting Cybersecurity policy program goals.
  • Serves as the primary liaison to key stakeholders and partners, including program committees, Division of IT, sponsors, and other institutional partners.
  • Develops management strategy and supports strategic planning, policy development, and other key areas. Assists with the management, administrative direction, and control of activities of research grants.
  • Provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to assigned internal and external subject matter experts, students, and staff that are participating in and supporting funded research projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluates the Strategic Initiative programs and analyzes data for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advises Senior Management on implementing programs, new initiatives, and special projects.
  • Ensures staff compliance with University policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and four (4) years of relevant experience.

  • Experience working with local and state government.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Managerial and/or supervisory experience.
