AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY) $4,365.00 - $5,226.00 per Month Final Filing Date: Job Description and Duties
Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Attention Automotive Equipment Operators! We are seeking an individual with a class B license with the ability to operate, service, and make minor adjustments and repairs to passenger vehicles, trucks, small-wheeled tractors, and other auto motive equipment, as well as transports passengers. This position is located at the California Health Care Facility (CHCF), in Stockton, CA, which is conveniently located off 99 in Stockton, near shopping and restaurants, includes free parking, and is an easy commute from Sacramento or Tracy. In addition, the selected candidate will receive a healthy pension plan, up to 14 paid holidays per year, and medical/dental and vision benefits. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position. You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement. Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
