You'll be responsible for working with product development teams to develop and test technology targeted for Cirrus Logic ICs. Candidate will be responsible for working with all aspects of battery power technology including supporting R&D teams in research and algorithm development, testing, data collection and analysis, competitive analysis, and board development.
You'll be involved with working with Cirrus ICs and development platforms for the purpose of testing, demonstrating and promoting Cirrus Logic ICs in the battery power and audio processing spaces.

Required Skills
  • BS EE or MS EE or equivalent experience with focus in power
  • 5+ years working with battery power related technologies including charging, gauging and testing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, customers, and industry organizations
  • Innovative, creative, lateral thinker with excellent attention to detail, strong quality ethic, and passion to win
  • Excellent documentation skills and a strong appreciation for the need for documentation.
  • Experience working with and programming embedded microcontrollers and/or single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ATTiny) for making custom test hardware controllers or interfaces.
  • Experience with audio related electronics (codecs, filters, etc.)
  • Experience designing analog and digital electronic circuits
  • Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, meters, etc.)
  • A strong desire to work in the lab with prototype or custom electronic hardware and the tenacity and determination to make these systems work.
  • Excellent customer-service attitude, whether the customer is internal or external to the company. This requires excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills that engage the other party and determine what is really needed even if the requestor is unable to articulate it clearly.
  • Excellent circuit debugging skill and laboratory data analysis skills.
Desired Skills
  • Experience working with Python for control and testing of solutions
  • Experience with Matlab for testing, control and algorithm development
  • Experience with C/C++/C#
  • Experience with circuit schematic/layout software, Siemens xPedition preferred.
  • Experience with laying out boards
