Summary:

The Supervisor Materials Management under Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the assigned location activity, including personnel, controlled inventory locations and some record keeping/administrative functions in the ERP system. This position will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. Responsible for overseeing warehousing, shipping, receiving, and handling of materials. Supervises transport of materials to and from departments and ensures material needs are met throughout the organization. Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of group.. Supervises a group of staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School Diploma preferred, Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in inventory control.

2. License/Certifications: CMRP and Lean Six Sigma preferred.

3. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in related field. Experience with Lean Sigma a plus.

4. Strong math skills able to convert unit of measures for inventory with differing of units of measurement for stocking and distribution.

5. Strong back ground in computer skills. Must be computer literate able to work in an integrated systems environment. Proficient in MS office applications. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both written and verbal.

7. Must have high level of attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.

8. Must have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

9. Ability to work in a team environment.

10. Productive individual who is accurate, dependable and a team player.
