Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a Full Time Mechanical Engineer I for our Goleta, CA facility. They will be responsible for the design, fabrication support and modification of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems. Projects vary and may include skills with Mechanical Analysis, Aerodynamics/Fluids, Thermal, Fluid Systems, Mechanical Packaging, or others. This position evaluates and supports the recommended design approach to meet production requirements for new or improved products or services. They will also investigate solutions to product or process problems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good judgment combined with technical expertise and will possess an ability to communicate effectively to team members from different disciplines. The expected pay scale for this position is $71,805.00/year - $102,683.00/year. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
